Mainstream Media In Decline

In a trend that seems to jive with personal and collective intuition, viewership of mainstream media sources is in decline. Perhaps the public is finally catching wise to the joke disguising itself as ‘news media’ – or perhaps as a people, we simply no longer care. With the internet a bigger-than-ever source of information and entertainment, the draw of old-fashioned TV is also in decline.

An article by globalresearch in March 2014 reports:

Another 2014 source by Markeydailynews asks, Is the mainstream media dying? It notes that in particular, “The key 25 to 52-year old demographic is in decline”. Is The Mainstream Media Dying?
