Elementism is highly misunderstood and often misinterpreted as ‘magic’. Magic
obviously involves the work of a humanistic word called ‘miracles’. It involves making
something-usually an element such as fire or water, from absolutely nothing. It makes no
sense, and pulling something from nothing is nigh impossible. However, pulling
something from something else is, if done by one of the wonders of the Conty of
Heribertez.
There are two key considerations to how this is done and though I will cover the
basics of how elementism breaks down and separates itself from magic, there are many
variables and the theory is still being researched. The two key elements are blood type
and the recessive elements.
How it breaks down:
The first consideration is the recessive elements. These elements are not such as
you would consider in a fantasy game, they lean more towards what you learned in
chemistry class. Though these recessive elements can not be found on earth, they can be
located actively in the body of Typernians. These elements consist of their own periodic
chart named the periodic table of elementism and it was developed on Typernia. Though
there are an exceedingly large number of them, they can be broken down into three
families, Offensive, Supportive, and Productive, and they can be separated again into
which of the Advanced Elements they support. (Fire, Water, Nature, Wind, ect.)
One different compound exists in all elementists recessively, and occasionally
there are exceptions. A compound works like this. Let’s take Joe here and say that in his
blood stream, he has two different elements and one compound.
PZf
3 (pyro III, or Zeferies)
Of
1(offensive 1)
Or…
PZf
3
Of
1
If this was the case, then Joe’s potential would be a level three pyro offensive
elementist. Now how does he use this trait for his benefit? Well here is the second
consideration: blood type. Blood type will decide exactly how far and how Joe will go
with his pyro-bending skills.
There are a couple of differences to the blood types on Typernia, as they are
naturally altered when a Typernian is born.
The first is Magnetism. The blood of all
Typernians have a magnetic field around their bodies correlating to their natural recessive
elements. Joe here is a pyro, so any kind of fire that matches the traits of his natural
recessive element, (He’s level three, so anything 1000 degrees Celsius or lower will be
fine) Will naturally be unable to pierce the magnetic field that his blood type creates. He
can balance fire on the tip of his finger without being burned due to this invisible field,
which can draw the element close to him and push it far enough away so he won’t get
burned- though it’s hard to notice unless you look close.

So Joe, as naturally to us as sucking in a break of water, can draw any source of
fire close to him and manipulate it as he pleases, which is pretty nifty. But that’s not all
his blood does.
By using a mineral called the Elementists Stone, and pricking the tip of his finger
to draw a slight amount of blood, (it doesn’t matter how much), the naturally recessive
element floating around in that blood of his will form a new compound and balance with
the elementist’s stone, and depending on Joe’s blood type, stone, and naturally recessive
element this could do a verity of things. Because we’re talking about Joe, it will engulf
the stone in a replenishing flame, in which Joe can draw fire from and do what he pleases
with it.
As long as Joe keeps the stone
near
to his body the flame on the stone will stay
ignited, as the open wound from which he drew the blood can be used by the stone to
continually draw power from.
