High atop a mountain covered with steep rocky precipices and sheer flat mountains walls lays a luminescent river, the water of which flows at a swift pace through a lush green forest. A young girl ran alongside pace it, seeming hurried and out of breath. High atop the cliffs of the Neagreaw Nierh,(Or Mountains,) her breath was visible as she panted, her small feet crushing the grass beneath her that sprang back up with vigor after she had tread over them.

She looked behind her, dashing to the edge of a cliff. Then, cornered, a boy approached her. A tight grin locked over his mouth. “I’ve cornered you, Scratch Zacorski, Lerdera erta iea.” Lord of War. He then stepped towards her, and she stepped a pace backwards.

Then, after a moment of tense silence, Scratch leapt upon him, the two of them giggling and wresting in the grass, the cold wind sweeping past them. Stumbling to her feet, Scratch then pulled the boy upwards. A grin spread on her face. She giggled again but was soon halted as a large adult figure approached the two of them.

“Scratch-Teri. Kit-Teri.” The adult addressed them both formally calling them children. Scratch huffed and snorted as the man carried on. “I was looking for you Scratch-Teri. Come. Scratch-Teri, you are late for lessons, and Kit, your father wanted you.” Grabbing Scratch’s hand with powerful vitality, he dragged her away from her friend towards the land below, away from her young friend. He looked forlorn, his gold eyes blazing with confusion, and after watching disappear from sight, he turned around and headed back in the opposite direction.

“You make things difficult.” The adult mused, as Scratch walked alongside him, her head down. “The way you insist to talk in the Human’s language has also been biting at my heels. You will be the death of me, Scratch-Teri, making me chase after you like this.” She looked up at him, tilting her head in amusement, and then shrugged.

“I have not been faltering in my studies, Luegia-Tani” She replied, addressing him as her elder. Her gaze was focused listlessly on the twigs below her as the two of them trudged through the forest trail, sand crushing beneath their feet.

“Oh? Is that so.” He asked of her, his hands in his robe-pocket. His dark blue eyes nipped at her. “We’ll see. Do you recall, Scratch-Teri, the name of our Conty and our planet?”

“I do.” Replied the girl, and then furrowed her brow. “What do you take me for, Luegia-Tani? An eeji? The name of our Conty is Heribertez. The name of our planet is Katia.”

“I do not take you for an idiot.” He replied, his eyes twinkling. “I was only assuring that you did not forget the fundamentals. How many planets are composed of Heribertez and which is the last in the order of Hierarchy?” Asked Luegia.

“There are Nine. The last in the order of Hierarchy is Earth. They do not know of us. They won’t for another hundred million years, when their race has evolved, if it lasts even that long.”
